Current Positions

Mechanical Engineer

  • The Mechanical Engineer will work independently or as part of a team to develop, design, test, and manufacture various custom mechanical devices and systems.  

    In this role, you will apply your knowledge of materials, mechanics, and physics to develop practical, reliable solutions that meet diverse customer and project requirements. You will create detailed models and drawings using CAD software, participate in prototyping and testing, and analyze performance data to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and quality standards. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills will be essential to delivering successful, innovative automation solutions. 

    Qualifications

    • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills to create successful projects 

    • Works well independently or in a group setting 

    • Attention to detail and accountability 

    • B.S., A.S., A.A.S or equivalent technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field 

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields is preferred 

    • CAD training and certifications in Engineering related field is preferred 

Controls Engineer

  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

    • 5 - 7 years of experience developing custom machine control systems

    • Ability to accommodate up to 10% travel

    Desired Skills

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Experience leading custom machine build projects as a controls engineer

    • Familiarity with industry standards for electrical design, robotics, and machine safety

    • Ability to specify panel and field components to prepare BOM for the project

    • Experience preparing electrical schematics and panel drawings

    • Controls programing expertise

    • Ability to program and commission industrial robots

    • Working knowledge of machine vision systems

    • Ability to create engineering documentation

    Responsibilities

    • Independently complete all controls engineering tasks throughout project lifecycle

      • Assist design team during concept development

      • Electrical Design – Component selection, schematics and BOM preparation

      • Control System Programing – PLC, HMI, Robotics, Motion control, Vision systems, Database/MES Integration

      • Work with machine assemblers and lead electrical debug of automation equipment

      • Perform software tests and prepare system for factory acceptance

    • Interface with internal team, vendors, and customers throughout the project

    • Occasionally oversee the work of junior engineers

    • Assist in development of department standards
